Class Announcements

What are class announcements?

Class announcements are messages you send to your students through focuspang. You can use them to:

  • Share important information about upcoming lessons
  • Remind students about homework or projects
  • Send encouragement or congratulations
  • Notify students about schedule changes

How to create an announcement

Step 1: Go to the announcements section

📍 Main Page → Click your class in the timetable → Click [Announcement] in the left sidebar

Step 2: Start creating your announcement

Click the [+Class Announcement] button to open the announcement creation screen.

Step 3: Write your announcement

Fill in the following information:

  • Title: A short, clear title for your announcement
  • Content: Your message to students
  • When to publish: Choose when students will see it

Step 4: Choose when to publish

You have two options:

  • Immediately: Students will see the announcement right away
  • Schedule: Set a specific date and time for the announcement to appear

Step 5: Add extra content (optional)

You can make your announcement more helpful by adding:

  • Images or photos
  • File attachments
  • Links to resources

Step 6: Send to multiple classes (optional)

If you want to send the same announcement to several classes, click the [+ Add classes to announce] button to select additional classes.

Step 7: Publish your announcement

When everything looks good, click the [Register] button to publish your announcement.

What happens next?

Once you publish an announcement, students can see it in their focuspang app. They'll get a notification so they don't miss important information.
