Focus Time

Focus Time is when you have your actual lesson with your teacher. It's like being in a regular classroom, but on your device! Let's learn how to join and participate in Focus Time.

What is Focus Time?​

Focus Time is your real lesson time with your teacher. During Focus Time:

  • You can see what your teacher is showing on their screen
  • You can take notes by drawing on the screen
  • Your teacher shares materials with you
  • You can only use apps and websites that your teacher allows (this helps you focus on learning)

It's like having your teacher right next to you, helping you learn!

What can you do during Focus Time?
  • Watch your teacher's screen during the lesson
  • Take notes by drawing on the screen
  • Get materials that your teacher shares
  • Use only the apps and websites your teacher chooses for the lesson

How to join and participate in Focus Time​

Step 1: Go to Focus Time​

📍 Main Page → Click your class in the timetable → Click [Focus Time] in the left sidebar

Step 2: Watch your teacher's lesson​

When your teacher starts the lesson, your teacher's screen will automatically appear on your screen. You can see everything your teacher is showing!

Step 3: Take notes on the screen​

Click the 🖌️brush icon to take notes on the screen with a pen

  • Click the 🎨palette to choose different pen colors
  • Click the ◽️eraser to erase specific parts
  • Click the 🗑️trash can to clear all your drawings

Step 4: Use full screen view​

Click the [Full Screen View] button to see your teacher's shared screen bigger and clearer

Step 5: Check what apps you can use​

In [Available Apps and Websites], you can see which apps and websites your teacher allows you to use during the lesson

Step 6: Get materials from your teacher​

In [Shared Link/File List], you can see links and files your teacher shared. Click them to open the materials your teacher wants you to use

Tips for Focus Time​

  • Pay attention to what your teacher is showing
  • Take notes when something is important
  • Ask questions if you don't understand
  • Use only the apps your teacher allows
  • Have fun learning with your teacher and classmates!
